Who publishes it
Jev, compared is written and run by DecisionNode, a decision model from Bynn Intelligence, Inc. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or operated by TypeSafe AI, the maker of Jev. It exists because developers who look up Jev often want to know what it does and what else they could use, and we think DecisionNode belongs in that comparison.
Where the facts come from
- Jev: TypeSafe's public documentation, in particular the models, API and model jaggedness pages. Described in our own words.
- DecisionNode: decisionnode.com/docs/pricing and the documentation.
- Benchmarks: decisionnode.com/benchmarks. Jev was called through its official API. The results are preliminary and labelled so wherever they appear.
Every fact was last checked on October 12, 2026. Prices and limits change; check the source before you rely on one.
The rules the comparisons follow
- Every number has a date and a source, and every benchmark states its method.
- Where Jev is ahead, we say so, with the number.
- “Leads” and “trails” are used only where the 95% intervals do not overlap.
- Charts start at zero, so small gaps look small.
- A feature is called missing from Jev only as “not in Jev's documented API”, with the date.
- The demos are example requests. The site shows no model answers.
